These are the final 15 reasons.
36. activities: football, soccer, drama, dance, piano, guitar, tennis, golf, ballet, tap, jazz, cheer leading, volleyball, track, etc.; who the hell has the time to take children to all of these activities, they better learn to ride a bike or catch a bus...walking ain't crowded; and all of this stuff costs astronomical amounts of money, for what?
37. grandparents: they are undermining our authority at every turn, taking their revenge on the hell-raising we did; they buy the good gifts, take children on good vacations and they are always attentive; what are parents left with, "no, go to your room/bed"
38. homework: when did school become hard!?!
39. discipline: some say time-outs, some say spanking, some don't do anything and let the child get away with everything; whatever action elicits the proper response is what I'm going with, but who wants to be mean and cruel all of the time...this could be a positive, have to reassess
40. birthdays: when I was young, birthday parties were hot dogs & sodas, pin-the-tail on the donkey, birthday hats, cake & ice cream; now their full-fledged catered events with planners, themes and entertainment, what the hell!?!
41. teenage years: do I really have to expound on why this is a negative?
42. opposite sex: her, him, them...stress can kill and so can I
43. food: children are either picky eaters, which is annoying, or they will eat you out of house & home, not stopping to catch their breath; in either case, they need to buy some groceries
44. allowance: since when did it become the norm to pay your children a) be obedient & do as they are told and b) take part in keeping the home presentable and clean; let's see, an allowance, well, I'm allowing them to stay in my home; I'm allowing them to eat my food and I'm allowing to be in presence and benefit from my company...they owe me
45 - 49. MONEY: children are expensive and getting more expensive by the year
45. babysitters: it's a racket and once they unionize it's all downhill for parents...MONEY!
46. education: either I move to a better school district or pay private school tuition...MONEY!
47. accessories: children have toys, laptops, mobile phones, iPods, computer games...MONEY!
48. health care: insurance, vaccines (shots), ear infections, chicken pox, braces...MONEY!
49. the car: insurance, insurance, accident, insurance, insurance, insurance...MONEY!
50. they never leave or they come back: it's my house; I pay the mortgage, the light bill, the gas bill, the phone bill and buy groceries...GET OUT! & STAY OUT!
If Shannon Sez So, then it must be. It's as simple as that folks, no discussion, no debate, no argument, and no compromising (unless I say so). I'm a Scorpio, so you know I'm passionate about all the aspects of my life, especially my opinions. You are welcome to agree, disagree or remain neutral, but my mind is already made up and I sez so.

I'm glad to see you are responsible and insightful enough to know it's not for you. I wish some other people would recognize that before having and then harming or killing their children.
But just so you know, kids are not all about money (or lack thereof), diapers and making a mess! LOL
Thanks for the comment. I made the decision years ago and I haven't looked back. As for the diapers and mess, check out first 35 reasons.
funny list. found you on twitter. I love your blog
This is a funny list, but you know that for many parents the tendency will be to answer every one of these things with a rebuttal. But there's no point in that, because you've made a grown-up choice for yourself, and clearly it's the right choice for you.
We can hope that someday, having-kids or not-having-kids will be seen as equally valid. It's sad when people who want kids don't have them, and it's sad when people who don't want kids *do* have them.
